I usually get significantly more tech curious on the weekends or when I’m sick (basically any time when I’m spending lots of time at my computer). I’ve been hearing a lot lately about HTML5, the new web standard, especially about the new things that web designers will be able to do with multimedia and interactive elements on web pages without having to use plugins like Silverlight or Flash.
There’s a few cool demonstrations of this new capability here at Because of the standard, the only web browsers supported are Google Chrome and Apple Safari.
