Web Browsers

Lately, my Firefox has been crashing more often than I’d like, and for some reason I can’t find a way to save crashed sessions. Even though I’m a Firefox fan, I’ve decided to give other web browsers a chance. I’ll be using a different browser as my primary web application every week.
Today, I’m starting with the first, Opera.
EDIT: I realized later today that this try-different-browsers thing isn’t actually going to take very long. I was actually going to give Internet Explorer 8 a try, but it appears to be Windows only (which makes sense, but also shows a lack of ambition). I already use/d Firefox, and after Opera, the only real contender out there is Chrome. If somebody specifically recommends a browser in the 5% “other” category, I might try it, but otherwise it’s down to Firefox, Opera and Chrome.

  1. I’ve been using Chrome exclusively for over a month now and I’ve been happier with it over everything else. I’m curious as to whether or not you will reach the same conclusion.

  2. I’m actually worried that I might like Chrome. This is a problem because I use just about every big Google product (exceptions are Google Reader and Docs). I’m not usually paranoid, but they’ve probably already indexed my brain.
