Finale of Haydn’s Spring (from The Seasons)

This week is going to be a little different; I’m trying to update the blog at least every day, but the projects that I wrote about yesterday are taking over my life.
Today, I had a brief rehearsal of the Handel aria. It’s shaping up well, especially now that I’ve become more comfortable with the trills and text.
This evening, I’m writing program notes for my choral music history class. My instructor is also the choir director, so she’s assigned us to write program notes for the Haydn oratorio that we’re performing on April 25th. I also need to make my way up to the church to prepare for my recital on Friday, but I might not get up there until late tonight.
